The apartments are at Carrer Guilleumes 1, in Monistrol de Montserrat, at the foot of the mountain. It is a practical location for visiting the monastery, taking the rack railway, hiking and exploring the area.
There are four apartments: Barretines, Flautats, Cavall Bernat and Lluernes. Their names come from Montserrat rock needles that can be seen from the house.
The apartments are designed for comfortable stays of up to 4 people. They work well for couples, families and small groups who want to stay near Montserrat.
Yes. Flautats and Barretines are upstairs and have a private terrace. Cavall Bernat and Lluernes are downstairs and have a private porch or garden.
Yes, the apartments have views of Montserrat mountain. It is one of the main reasons guests enjoy staying here.
Check-in is from 16:00 on arrival day and check-out is until 11:00 on departure day. On arrival day we send you a code to enter the house and your apartment.

No. Smoking is not allowed and parties or visitors who are not staying in the apartment are not permitted. We also ask guests to keep quiet after 22:00 out of respect for neighbours.

The rack railway station is about 800-850 metres from the apartments. You can walk through the village or drive to the station car park.

Yes. The classic walk from Monistrol to the monastery is about 4.15 km and takes around 1 h 30 min, with moderate difficulty. It is a beautiful route, but wear suitable shoes and carry water.
Yes. The road from Monistrol to the monastery is about 8.7 km. There is paid parking at the top, which can become busy on popular days.
The rack railway is the mountain train that reaches the centre of the sanctuary area. The cable car is a shorter and more panoramic ride of about 5 minutes. Both are good options; it depends on the experience you prefer.
You can visit the basilica and abbey, listen to the Escolania choir when schedules allow, visit the Museum of Montserrat, hike nearby trails, take the funiculars or walk toward the Santa Cova.
